Worryingly three predictions were all within a goal of the correct result in that shocker of a 6-1 defeat at home to City!
Predictions received by email from VinRogue before the West Ham and Fulham games and verified as acceptable have now been updated in the table.
Big Claret remains in pole position with only 2 of his 8 predictions not scoring any points. It seems that his ‘ less than impressed` attitude (to be kind) since the change of manager has paid off with his pessimistic predictions being largely accurate.
A special mention should go to Brompton who, despite a late start, has climbed superbly up the table and is not far behind many who have predicted twice the number of games.
With 5 games remaining, it looks like a 4-way battle to win the Prediction League Prize. Can Big Claret hold his nerve or can Grimsby pip one of the Sheffield boys to the title? 5 weeks from now we shall know!
