Claret Dale provides his regular update on how well we are all doing in Vital Burnley’s Prediction League as we enter a new year.

It was a good couple of weeks for the Clarets sparked by that remarkable last 15 minutes at Hull. I still can`t believe that happened and I am nearly as surprised by the points tally we have managed to amass since that game. Below you can see how your fortunes have changed (or failed to change) over the last six weeks.
We have a new leader at the top with ‘Dad’ managing to collect 11 points from the latest batch of ten games. The refusal to predict anything other than a Clarets win works well when the team is having a successful period.
A number of other ‘optimists’ amongst those predicting have also scored well since the last update. More points being collected in this update than in any other previously provided this season.
The early season leader has started to falter (as predicted) and now sits tamely in 8th place.
Hopefully the form on the pitch continues and the majority of people can pick up points with successful predictions.
