The Premier League resumes after the break with a big one at the Etihad Stadium – Saturday’s lunchtime kick off will see Manchester City, fourth, play host to second-placed Liverpool.
Brighton are yet to win, meanwhile, West Brom haven’t suffered a defeat. The two Albion’s will feel this meeting is an opportunity for points, which, even at this stage, are perhaps needed more by the Seagulls.
Two clubs who will hope to push for top-four finishes – at least – are Everton and Tottenham. Admittedly, they haven’t quite made the starts they would have wanted but they could be far worse.
Ahead of the meeting at St Mary’s, Southampton and Watford have identical records, two draws and a victory.
Manchester United are the only Premier League side with a perfect record – Stoke have proven a bogey side at times over the years and the Potters would hope to continue this to end the leaders’ 100% record.
Sunday’s games will see Burnley and second-bottom Crystal Palace, who are yet to win, meeting at Turf Moor followed by Swansea and Newcastle, both recording first wins last time round.
The schedule ends at the London Stadium on Monday evening as under pressure West Ham boss Slaven Bilic bids to guide his side to a first point of the campaign when the Hammers host third-placed Huddersfield, who are yet to suffer a topflight defeat.
