There are rumours on various message boards that Coyle is seeking a season-long loan for Liverpool striker sometimes winger, David N’Gog .
Vital Burnley of course don’t usually put up rumour articles based on idle gossip in forums but it seems all this furore has come from a video put up by the Virgin Media online football site

One minute you are watching Burnley lift the Championship Play-Offs Cup at Wembley, next minute you are told we need another striker and then wham bam up pops N’Gog with Virgin saying he fits the bill followed by the strapline ‘Season Long Loan’ and with no question mark by the way. All very odd!!
The 20 year old France U21 was signed by Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain in July 2008 for £1.5 million (4 year contract)
and could be itching for more regular football in the top flight
