Alex MacDonald has completed his loan spell with Falkirk and has now returned to Turf Moor.

He played 13 times for the Bairns and became a fans favourite in his spell North of the Border. He scored one goal during his time there against St Mirren after coming on from the bench.

He has arrived back two weeks earlier than planned because he is suffering from an ongoing groin injury that would have kept him sidelined beyond his loan contract.

The 19 year old Scotland Under 19 international striker is likely to still find opportunities limited in the Clarets first team and when he fully recovers from his injury could be a candidate for another loan spell until the end of the season.
