Gabby Agbonlahor has, according to some recent rumours, been attracting the attention of Sean Dyche with a possible move to Burnley this month being reported.
Agbonlahor might be ‘out of favour’ at Aston Villa, which has led to reports of him leaving the Premier League side, but if he does it’ll not be with him coming to the Clarets or Championship rivals Wolves by all accounts?
The Lancashire Telegraph is among those saying these claims are ‘wide of the mark’ with no approach made to Villa for the former England international who, should he leave this month, preferring to stay in the Premier League.
He’s a player of proven ability and quality but the 29-year-old not coming to Turf Moor perhaps isn’t that disappointing (as much as you can never have enough attacking quality) does Dyche really need him anyway?
