Having been recalled from his loan spell with Walsall, Dan Agyei now returns to League One for a spell out with Blackpool.

The 20 year old striker scored five times in 21 appearances for Walsall in the first half of the campaign, and he’ll be looking to better that out at Bloomfield Road in the second half of the year.

Agyei got further experience of the division during his five month stay out with Coventry City last season where he also scored five times, and having returned to Turf Moor he took in three Premier League appearances as Sean Dyche continued his development.

Blackpool manager Lee Bowyer told the Official Site.

‘Huge thanks, first and foremost, to Sean Dyche and Burnley for allowing it to happen. I’m absolutely delighted to bring Dan in. He’s here until the end of the season and he’s going to bring pace, power and goals, hopefully. I’ve seen him live and he has got this habit of scoring some goals, and good goals at that.’

Blackpool sit in 16th place in League One and Bowyer had an interest in taking Agyei on over the summer, so he’s finally got his man.
