Congratulations this time go to Crosspool Claret who was consistent throughout the season. A final push of 8 points in the final 4 games of the season were however important in seeing Steve over the line. A cheque for £50 will be soon be wending its way to him.
Claretfromaway was waiting to pounce (collecting 8 points in the final 3 games) and once again finished the season in the prizes picking up £20 for being the runner-up. Congratulations also must go to RickersTwickers who managed to sneak third place at the end and earn himself a tenner!
It could have been a different story. If Dad had predicted anything other than a Burnley victory (especially in the poor post January run) he would have earned himself a prize. As could Barnsey, whose average PPG would be enough to see him into third place, if only he had managed to predict all 46 games!
We now get three months off. Three months which I feel could be very interesting at the Turf. We will be back next season with another Prediction League.
