Burnley are thought to be in the market for a new keeper. Lee Grant looks set to become a Derby player soon if rumours are true, and he along with Brian Jensen are both out-of-contract in the summer along with third-string choice, Jon Stewart. The Beast today has tweeted that he will be looking for a new club despite no current official announcement yet. The tweet read:

“Emotional day today. Not been offered a contract so time for a new challenge.” Once confirmed we will bring you more news.

The latest rumour on the goalkeeping front according to the local press is that Burnley are keeping tabs on Motherwell keeper, Darren Randolph. The 25 year old former Charlton Athletic goalkeeper has impressed this season for the SPL club and has just been named in the PFA Scottish Premier League Team of the Year. The keeper also had a loan spell just down the road at Accrington Stanley playing a part in their 2005/06 Conference promotion season after joining them for the start of that campaign. Whilst at Charlton, he also had loan spells at Welling United, Gillingham, Bury and Hereford United. Randolph signed for Motherwell at the beginning of July 2010 on a free transfer having agreed a three-year-contract. The Republic of Ireland international stopper is also thought to be on Birmingham City’s radar so we could face competition to sign him.
