The Clarets look set to visit Moss Lane, the home of Altrincham again this summer.
Last summer they opened their pre-season campaign against Alty and will be returning there almost 12 months later.
Burnley will play the friendly on the 21st July, four weeks before the new season kicks off.
It is also thought another West Country tour could be on the cards with the pre-season campaign once again finishing with a home game on the Saturday before the season starts. Confirmation though is still awaited.
