Manager Sean Dyche was waxing lyrical about the performance of the Burnley players in yesterday’s victory over Bristol City.
Taking the four nil win at Turf Moor with goals coming from an Andre Gray hattrick and a solo effort from Scott Arfield, Dyche was delighted with yet another solid, professional and entertaining showing from the side on home soil – giving the fans more than enough to cheer in the final game of the year – and Dyche’s delight was in seeing the crowd react to the game because he knows they are ‘enjoying’ what they are seeing.
With the result backing up the four nil home win over Charlton Athletic ahead of Christmas Day, it was also the right way to bounce back from the disappointment that was the trip to Hull’s KC Stadium and that particular three nil loss.
