Ahead of the weekend’s clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, Burnley manager Sean Dyche and centre-half James Tarkowski were both confirmed as being on the Premier League’s respective Manager of and Player of the Season shortlists.
The Premier League made their announcement on Saturday but despite the disappointing heavy loss to Arsene Wenger’s side in his final home game after 22-years in charge, Burnley have secured a European adventure – nobody is going to let the result get in the way of a well-earned celebration.

Tarkowski is also on a shortlist of six following the fine campaign he’s had, playing his part in keeping eleven clean sheets. He’s listed alongside Manchester City duo Kevin de Bruyne and Raheem Sterling, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Manchester United’s David de Gea.
The vote is identical to above, and you can cast your vote for Tarky Here.
Well deserved by both although not sure you can call 10% a vote?
Jose and pep spending millions of pound to entertain fans but this man with limited budget and amazing talent showed us how it’s done and just imagine what he could have done if he had the funds available like United and city 🤨 definitely manager of the year for me 😀

I’m a Liverpool fan, but Mr Dyche gets my vote. He’s had a fantastic season and is close to taking you into the europa league. He’s a guy I’ve always liked and respected. I don’t think any other manager deserves it more than he does. Good luck Sean.

He'll always be the first to praise his backroom staff and his players but this guy is working miracles at little old Burnley… long may it continue #UTC #InDycheWeTrust

As a Chelsea fan, Dyche should win it hands down. His achievement with Burnley is comparable to Leicester winning the league & I mean that in the best possible way. Pep had a great season undeniably but spending half a billion pounds should do that for ya.
