Clarets fans will be twidding their thumbs this weekend wondering what to do with the club not in action due to yet another International break. Three of our Clarets though could be in action for their countries after winning call-ups

Sam Vokes, Martin Paterson and David Edgar will all be on international duty next week for their countries` World Cup qualifiers.

Vokes keeps his place in the Wales squad hoping to feature in the crucial games against Scotland and Croatia in Group A. Chris Coleman will be hoping his side can pick up their first points.

Paterson is back in the Northern Ireland squad for a trip to Portugal on Tuesday, 16 October. He missed two of their games last month having to pull out with a hamstring injury.

Meanwhile globe-trotting David Edgar flies out to Canada after Burnley`s game at Crystal Palace on Saturday to prepare for games against Cuba and Honduras.

The outcome will decide whether the Canucks make it through to the next phase of qualifying for Brazil 2014.
