Everton & Tottenham Targeting Gray?

Interest from others in Burnley players isn’t new, in fact this being shown in Andre Gray certainly isn’t. The Clarets wouldn’t want to sell the former Luton and Brentford striker but rumours again claim Premier League rivals could come calling.

According to the Telegraph, Everton and Tottenham, both linked previously, are looking towards Gray as they consider potential alternatives to players they might replace.

Everton’s Romelu Lukaku could be prised away from Goodison Park and Tottenham’s Vincent Janssen has failed to live up to expectation at White Hart Lane since his arrival at Spurs from Dutch football last summer.

Both are showing an interest in Gray, 25, who has scored 10 goals in 35 games in all competitions this season – he’s found himself on the sidelines recently but should feature against West Ham on Sunday, which we’ll all hope isn’t his last game for the Clarets?

Gray, signed from Brentford in a club record deal in 2015, is about to move into the final year of his current contract at Turf Moor and that could become a factor in any decision made.

He will only be a bench warmer at either club. Given a classy partner here he could be an ace goal scorer. In any case he would get more games with the Clarets.
