The FA Cup third round draw was made moments ago and Burnley will play Premier League Norwich City at Carrow Road next month.
The tie will be played on the weekend of 7 and 8th January 2012.
This is probably a fixture most Clarets fans, who now face a long journey to East Anglia would have preferred not to get and it will certainly be tough against Paul Lambert’s side.
We played Norwich City of course only last season on their way to automatic promotion as Championship runners-up. We did pretty well against them too, earning a 2-2 draw at Carrow Road and beating them 2-1 at Turf Moor.
