The Prediction League 2010/11 has started off with a healthy number of entrants and some will be happier than others with how their ‘season` has started. The first published table of the season is below:

It is RickerTwickers and Dale (Who hasnt cheated honestly) leading the way after 4 games with both managing to predict the correct outcome of all four games. The only other person yet to predict a wrong outcome is TMP, although a prediction was not submitted for the Swansea game. (Editor’s Note: Bugger how did I forget that? Probably in hospital at the time!! Would have predicted a draw anyway)

After four games last season, the leader was Grimsby Claret who had 6 points. Barnsey can maybe consider himself unlucky to be three points adrift at this stage, or is this just an indication that in a season where our win % should be higher, more points will be needed for success in the Prediction League?

Last seasons champion, Bigclaret has struggled to get going this season which can mainly be attributed to his lack of faith in Mr Laws. To date, four defeats have been predicted and therefore only 1 point has been gained. Will this change as hopefully the Clarets continue to get more points on the board?

The World Cup Prediction League Champion, Couch Potato, has had a better start, but will hope for more points if he is to have a chance of picking up a second title.

The next update will be published after the match at the New Den by which time the season will be 10 games old. This is a time when the Championship table should be starting to take shape. Will our Prediction League be the same?

As per previously, please check your score and if you feel there has been an error – contact me either on the bottom of this thread of via the vital inbox.

Good Luck with your next batch of predictions!
