Danny Ings has been linked with moves to Spain, Germany and most of all Liverpool, Man City and Man United but, if reports are right, a decision has been made with him off to Liverpool at the end of his contract.
The Lancashire Telegraph, probably unsurprisingly given the interest that Liverpool have shown, says that his ‘preferred destination’ is Anfield.
With relegation confirmed, even though we would more likely have lost him either way, his four-year spell at Turf Moor will end this summer but at least we’ll get something in the region of £4m in compensation for him whereas we would have got a mere £200,000 if he had gone abroad!
Until something is signed somewhere though reports are just reports aren’t they….
